A restaurant to recommend...

We recently attended the launch of a new restaurant in Coventrys famous medieval Spon Street. Having been officially named the Blue Bistro we can honestly state, after trying it out, that the food and wine were a perfect match to the incredible building and location. Wonderful.

Blue Bistro are commited to using seasonal, local and ethically sourced ingredients wherever possible. Of course, we were the amongst the people they spoke to - and we are proud to supply the restaurant with our products. Its great knowing that we finally have a restaurant on our doorstep who take this approach, and we know that there are a lot of people out there who would like to enjoy a wonderful meal knowing that the food they eat is sourced, prepared and cooked by those who are passionate about quality. Rumour has it that they also have some rather excellent wine and beers to try -and even entertainment!

Tim has been running a masterclass over the past few weeks, showing the chefs how we store, cut and prepare the meat they use. Next week we show them how we make our sausages and pies - and precisely what goes into them. We'll keep the camera out - hopefully, more there will be a few more pictures to come!
