Firmly committed to best practice in animal welfare, we only buy our meat from specially selected farms, and butcher and prepare everything here in our shop. Ethically reared English Veal

We have (finally!) managed to source Rose Veal from a number of farms committed to animal welfare. Brookfield Farm has headed up the project - they, and several local farmers have joined together to supply english Rose Veal. They consider the welfare and contentment of the animals as paramount, and give them space to move around and to feed and drink whenever they like. The farmers have won a prestigious award from "Compassion in World Farming" and are accredited by the RSPCA freedom foods scheme. The meat is very low in fat, very tender and tastes wonderful.

Veal escalopes, cutlets, steaks, osso buco are all available, but if there is a particular cut you would like, please do not hesitate to ask.
